Since I was little, I have been surrounded by people with magic fingers: a dad who is skilled with his hands when it comes to repairing anything at home, a mom who can cook us delicious meals as well as knit us wonderful sweaters, a grandmother who is as good a seamstress as a knitter or even a cook. I learned to knit from my grandmother Geneviève but I was slow to want to start sewing. My passion for it was born in 2020. We were in full lockdown and to pass the time I scribbled my first sketches in a notebook. The following month I bought my first sewing machine without suspecting for a single second what this purchase would trigger!

Right out of school, I had this desire to create my own brand of sewing patterns. But life asked me to wait a year. A year where I was able to work for luxury brands, a year that allowed me to strengthen this idea, this desire. At the end of 2024, I decided that my adventure for 2025 would be Vévette! Vévette was the nickname given to my grandmother. A name that resonates like an obvious choice, having, according to family accounts, been inherited from her magic fingers.
